I was flipping through a fashion magazine I found at work. I’m talking Prada jackets for $10,000, Marc Jacobs shoes for $2300, purses for $4000. The USA population is 308 million people. I would think there are only about 5 million people that can afford outrageous stuff like that. So how do these designers stay in business? It’s not everyday they are going to get Paris Hilton walk in the door and spend 50g’s…
I have just finished my exams and was going to celebrate and buy a couple of designer bags this year (one for having done them, just now, the other hopefully if I pass them all!) I did this last year and got a brown Mulberry Allanah bag after I had done them and a black Chloe Paddington when I got an A in my Higher.
Out of the bags which ones would you think would be best to get; one just now to celebrate completing them and then one hopefully if I get good grades?

Thanks Eva, I actually did have a white Balenciaga for a while off Ebay, but it was so grubby and dirty from its previous owner I sold it. I am 21, so I am guessing that Chanel would be mature? But I will consider the Tivoli and Stam- I was a little unsure of the Stam as my partner says it looks cheap and tacky!

My guy bought me these fab ankle boots as a gift http://www.bakersshoes.com/product.aspx?c=445&p=62304 I had no idea what to wear them with so I found Marc Jacobs over the knee socks online after seeing a photo of someone wearing them with a skirt. I thought it was sexy. The shoes and socks with a skirt were a bit outside my fashion envelope but I tried it. I wore them with a white and black skirt with a black cowel neck shirt and the black over the knee socks. He absolutely LOVED how it looked. Kept telling me he never knew socks would make me look so HOT. I got tons of compliments out and about as well. blagh blagh. I was not going for the school girl look, however it appears now I pulled it off a bit after posting a question about my outfit earlier.
